I design systems before interfaces. My work focuses on building flexible, long-lived foundations that empower expression without sacrificing structure, performance, or clarity. I believe good design emerges from constraints: clear mental models, predictable behavior, and tools that guide rather than overwhelm.
Software does not fail because of missing features. It fails because its underlying systems were never designed to evolve.
Neurogenesis is an exploration of what happens when design systems, editor UX, and engineering discipline are treated as a single problem. It favors clarity over novelty, structure over abundance, and longevity over short-term wins.
I am not interested in tools that merely look powerful. I am interested in tools that stay powerful after years of use, by teams who didn't build them, in contexts the original author could not predict.
